So for our transitions we have decided to use a school bell in which signals us all to walk around the stage as if the bell has just gone , the victims still in role as well as the bullies, we then all walk back to the sides at the end of the continuous bell . We ran the whole drama and pieced this in , we found that it was affective and all agreed it was a good idea. It was effective as we believe it portrays to the audience a sence of real school movement and what they experience at the end of there lessons themselves.
The after school was really beneficial as we were able to run through the whole drama and have a chat about any concerns we were having for example , who was to be in the opening 'victim' letters scene. We also decided as a group that at the end the bullies would all have ONE letter in which they all share reading at the victim's funeral instead of each reading one , we decided on this due to the length of time reading taken as one each would take too long and in fault loose attention and affect on the audience. I like our new idea as it suggests that all the bullies share the same guilt and also projects that they are weak as they all have to read it together in order to express there terrible actions.
For next lesson Me and Lil have decided to have our script written and ready to project on the screen behind our drama and research into various music pieces we could use for our drama , I shall update the blog with my ideas on music and a print screen of the 'MSN' conversation.
